Parkertown Fire & EMS Ambulance Graphics | Emergency Vehicle Rebranding
When an emergency vehicle changes departments, the graphics often need to change with it.
This ambulance was acquired by Parkertown Fire & EMS and needed to be updated to reflect its new department identity. Typestries removed and replaced the existing graphics and developed a new emergency vehicle lettering and striping package appropriate for its new home.

The finished graphics combine traditional emergency-service styling with both genuine and simulated 23k gold leaf. Gold leaf has a long history in fire service apparatus lettering, and incorporating it into modern vehicle graphics creates a distinctive appearance that still feels appropriate for the fire and EMS community.

Projects like this involve more than simply changing a department name. Existing graphics, vehicle colors, body lines, compartment doors, reflective requirements, and previously installed striping all influence the new design. The goal is to make the finished ambulance look as though it was originally designed for the department acquiring it—not like a vehicle with replacement decals added later.

Typestries provides design, lettering, striping, reflective graphics, gold leaf and complete graphics packages for ambulances, fire apparatus, command vehicles and other emergency-service vehicles throughout New Jersey.
