Shooters Hardware Backlit Road Sign | West Creek NJ
A roadside sign has one job at first: get noticed. But a well-planned business sign also has to represent the brand clearly, perform day and night, satisfy local requirements and stand up to years of exposure.
For Shooters Hardware in West Creek, New Jersey, this new backlit roadside sign was a complete signage project—from early planning and permitting through brand design, fabrication, LED lighting and final installation.

More Than a New Sign Face
Projects like this illustrate why effective commercial signage starts well before fabrication. We worked through the planning and permitting requirements, refined the brand presentation for the roadside application, and then carried that design through the fabrication and installation process.
The result is a sign designed specifically for the way it will actually be seen: at roadside scale, from moving vehicles, during the day and after dark.
LED Conversion for the Illuminated Sign Cabinet
As part of the project, the sign cabinet was converted to LED illumination. The updated lighting system gives the new backlit graphics the illumination they need at night while modernizing the cabinet as part of the overall sign upgrade.
That combination of strong daytime contrast and effective nighttime illumination allows the Shooters Hardware identity to keep working well beyond daylight hours.
Built for a Coastal Environment
Sign materials along the Southern Ocean County coast have to contend with sun, moisture, wind and a demanding outdoor environment. Material selection and fabrication methods were therefore considered with long-term durability in mind rather than treating the project as a short-term cosmetic update.
From the sign structure and illuminated cabinet to the graphics and installation, each part of the project was approached as a complete exterior signage system.
